As part of our global expansion, we are offering an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to take on the position of Expansion Project Leader. As an Expansion Project Leader, you are responsible for all on-site operations within the deployed Franchise market. This means you are the direct link to gaining insights across all aspects of daily operations and market development, supporting our partners in ensuring the highest possible performance in all operational areas. In this role, you will take the lead on the ground in a new market, guiding a dedicated team of trainers and ensuring a successful market opening from day one.

We’re looking for someone to join for a minimum of two projects which would account for a total of 12 months expected travel with the opportunity to extend further. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are eager to experience a new cultural and professional challenge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Virtue-Based Leadership: Effectively lead your team in alignment with company virtues and operational principles.

Recruitment / Employee Engagement: Responsible for the recruitment, pre-boarding, and onboarding of Franchise Expansion Trainers and Franchise Campus Trainers. Develop and inspire your Expansion Trainers through 1-1 development plans, employee engagement actions, in-store training, and team meeting facilitation.

Operational Requirements: Maintain a safe, compliant, and healthy working environment in the deployed market by guiding hygiene, health, and safety standards while ensuring brand and local standards are maintained per guidelines. Comprehensive understanding of all our standard equipment and bar set-ups required.

Systems & Structures: Ensure all J&TJ systems are correctly implemented, trained and operational to ensure accurate reporting and brand standards. Comprehensive understanding of WP2, Inventory, Riskproof & all other J&TJ Hexnode applications.

Stock Handling: Follow up on the product quality and specs in all J&TJ required SKU’s as well as correct use of our Inventory system. To direct them to our Supply chain specialist within our Franchise HQ team for further support.

Performance Management: Accountable for connecting our Franchise partners with the appropriate HQ department or individual to ensure specialist tasks are supported in the right way. To share and have a basic understanding of all necessary guidelines through various departments to ensure brand integrity is followed strictly. Lead cross-functional communication and manage key stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and smooth execution throughout market entry and franchise launch phases.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Operational Requirements: Hygiene standard, Overall 4-wall compliance, Bar set-up, J&TJ System implementations

Guest Experience: Returning guests, app conversions, complaints, waiting time, product quality, store audits
      
Project Performance: Training completion, waste, productivity, sustainable local management

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of experience in JOE operations 
  • Minimum Store Manager experience
  • Comfortable adapting in fast-changing environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions and levels
  • Comfortable with traveling and able to adapt to last minute situations based on the needs of the business
