Head of Operational Recruitment
WHY WORK AT JOE & THE JUICE
JOE & THE JUICE is a people centric food and beverage company built around culture, not just juice, sandwiches, coffee, and much more. When joining us, you step into a high energy community where the music is loud, the bar is your stage, and your personality matters as much as your skills.
We believe in four simple virtues that shape everything we do:
- Positive Attitude
- Inclusion
- Social Ties
- Growth
For us, this means that when you choose a cup half-full mindset and welcome people form every background, build real friendships across the bar by creating great guest experiences, and use every shift as a chance to learn something new, you become more than just a juicer; like us, you continue to search and mind purpose and meaning in what you do.
From your first day, you’ll be part of an international network of juicers who support each other, celebrate wins together, and push each other to grow. You will learn by doing, move through a clear Moneyball career path, and be part of a company where most leaders have earned their stripes behind the bar (fun fact: over 75% of our employees started as Juicers!).
If you love fast paced service, music, people, and the idea of turning a job into a lifestyle, JOE can become a place to build skills, friendships, and a career that can take you across cities, countries, and roles.
Your Mission
As the TA Lead, you are the backbone of our global growth leading our strategic efforts of recruiting 5.000+ dedicated new members of the JOE community across our 16 global markets. You will transition our recruitment function from reactive hiring to a strategic powerhouse. You’ll own the ecosystem and lead a small, agile team to ensure our operational leaders have the processes, tools and the talent pipelines they need, exactly when they need it.
Key Responsibilities
- Mass Recruitment Architecture: Design and execute high-volume hiring strategies for our stores globally, mastering the art of seasonal ramp-ups and new market entries.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Own the hiring funnel. You’ll translate raw metrics into actionable insights, forecasting future needs and providing clear, transparent reporting to senior leadership.
- System Ownership: Vendor management of our ATS, Greenhouse, and other related recruitment platforms, eg, LinkedIn and Sapia. You’ll ensure governance, optimize workflows, and keep the "engine" running at peak efficiency.
- Operational Strategy: Build a scalable recruitment operating model that supports rapid expansion while maintaining a gold-standard candidate experience.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a critical peer to Regional Managers and Ops Directors. You aren't just a service provider; you’re a strategic partner helping them hit their commercial goals through people.
- Employer Brand Strategy: You’ll oversee our Employer Branding function, ensuring our brand strategy aligns with our global hiring needs. You’ll help guide the creative output to make sure we’re attracting the right "Joes" and, more importantly, tracking how that storytelling actually moves the needle on candidate flow and conversion.
Who You Are
You’re a recruitment veteran who thrives in chaos but loves to build order. You probably have a dashboard for everything and a "can-do" attitude that matches our pace.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience: Around 5+ years in Talent Acquisition, and deep background in Global Volume Recruitment (Hospitality, F&B, or Retail is a must).
- Tech Savvy: Expert-level knowledge of Greenhouse (or similar Tier-1 ATS). You love a good automation.
- Analytical: You don't just see numbers; you see trends. You can forecast hiring needs months in advance.
- Leadership: Experience managing a small team and influencing senior stakeholders across different time zones.
- Mindset: High urgency, high empathy, and zero ego. You’re ready to get your hands dirty while thinking 12 months ahead.
