What you’ll do

Our finance team is growing, and we need someone to help us scale how we handle accounts payable and procurement. This role exists to ensure that our internal invoice workflows run smoothly across JetBrains entities, minimizing friction and keeping our records precise.

You will not just process transactions – you will have real ownership over the accuracy of our data and play a key role in implementing our new procurement and accounts payable automation system. You will collaborate with teams across the entire company to resolve purchase order discrepancies and streamline approval workflows. Your work will directly influence how efficiently our global business operates behind the scenes.

Day to day, you will:

• Run day-to-day accounts payable activities for JetBrains entities.
• Review vendor invoices and requisitions to verify authorizations and approvals.
• Verify supporting documentation for vendor invoice payments.
• Partner with different departments to resolve invoice approval issues, purchase order discrepancies, and disputes.
• Maintain a smooth workflow for vendor and intercompany invoices, booking them accurately in our ERP system.
• Prepare and track payments while communicating directly with the bank.
• Process and reconcile corporate credit card and petty cash transactions.
• Participate in implementing and refining our new procurement and accounts payable automation system.
• Help with month-end and year-end closing routines.
• Contribute to process optimization initiatives and other finance projects.

What you’ll need

• Experience managing accounts payable activities or general accounting processes.
• Practical understanding and working knowledge of Czech VAT regulations.
• Professional proficiency in Excel to analyze financial data.
• Professional fluency in both English and Czech to collaborate with local and global teams.
• Experience navigating NetSuite (Oracle) or a similar ERP system.
