Senior Product Manager (ReSharper)

Our .NET and game dev tools include ReSharper (an extension for Microsoft Visual Studio also available for VS Code-like editors), Rider (a standalone cross-platform .NET and game dev IDE), and a suite of profiling and code analysis tools like dotCover, dotMemory, dotTrace, and dotPeek.

In this role, you will:
- Identify and validate new opportunities to increase ReSharper’s impact on JetBrains business.
- Extensively interact with users to identify their needs, understand their challenges, and devise appropriate solutions.
- Conduct the necessary UX and market research to gain insights and make informed decisions.
- Identify the product metrics needed to monitor success and make data-driven decisions.
- Generate, prioritize, and test hypotheses.
- Define and implement a product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that addresses short-term and long-term goals.
- Work closely with engineering teams to clearly define problems and assist in designing, delivering, and iterating solutions.
- Collaborate with analysts, technical writers, developer advocates, and marketing and growth teams.
- Cooperate with the authors of third-party libraries, frameworks, and tools.
We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you:
- Have a technical education or experience in software development.
- Have at least three years of product management or equivalent experience.
- Have a deep understanding of product metrics.
- Are familiar with programming languages and modern software development practices.
- Have a proven ability to define product strategy and drive execution across multiple teams.
- Have experience working with technical products and engineering-heavy teams.
- Are able to demonstrate a track record of customer-centric thinking and the ability to translate user problems into product opportunities.
- Are proficient in English with strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Are able to work through both the discovery and delivery phases of product development.
We'd be especially thrilled if you:
- Have professional experience writing code in C#.
- Have a background in developer tooling. Whether it’s IDEs, code analysis, CI/CD, or version control, you understand the landscape and have worked on products built for developers.
- Are familiar with major software development platforms, including experience with IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio, VS Code, or similar environments.
