Digital Trading Manager / E-Commerce Manager - Benelux

We are looking for you as a Digital Trading Manager - Benelux in our Head Office in Amsterdam. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the digital trading performance across our online channels in the Netherlands and Belgium.

As a Digital Trading Manager - Benelux, you will work closely with and under the responsibility of the Digital Trading Lead to plan and execute activities that drive revenue, profit, and EBIT targets across our digital channels. In this role, you will collaborate with Buying & Merchandising and Digital Marketing to deliver a best-in-class online trading performance for the Benelux region.

Your area of responsibility:
  • Plan market targets and phasing in collaboration with the Trade Lead and Commercial Finance teams
  • Own and manage the digital trading calendar for the Benelux market
  • Drive key projects and enhancements across website and app channels
  • Monitor competitor activity, trends, and new developments
  • Produce weekly trading summaries and daily performance updates
  • Review sales performance, identify weaknesses, and take corrective actions to maximise revenue and ensure optimal stock availability
  • Track, report, and recommend solutions for slow sellers
  • Suggest markdowns and commercial events in line with brand strategy, reporting on results and missed opportunities
  • Collaborate with Merchandising on product selection for newsletters, onsite features, and homepage stories
  • Leverage retail bestsellers to strengthen omnichannel performance
  • Analyse traffic and sales data to refine and optimise merchandising effectiveness across categories
  • Work closely with Retail, Digital Marketing, Operations, and Customer Care teams to improve omnichannel capabilities and the overall customer experience
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and ensure alignment with the regional strategy
  • Support, train, and coordinate the Trading Executive in their weekly workload

 

What you should bring with you:
  • Several years of experience in eCommerce or digital trading, ideally with proven success in conversion optimisation and product marketing
  • Strong knowledge of online sales platforms, preferably in fashion or sportswear
  • Advanced analytical skills and confidence in working with large data sets and tools such as Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics
  • Ability to turn data into actionable insights to improve sales and customer experience
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and execute effectively
  • Confidence in decision-making and taking initiative to achieve commercial goals
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Business-fluent English and Dutch; French is an advantage
