Head of IT Operations
Reporting to the Technology Director, the Head of IT Operations, will be part of the strategic management team, accountable for six teams, covering New Store openings, Network comms provisioning, New services and roll out delivery team, Field engineering, Kingsway IT Operations and BAU IT Operations. The purpose of the role is to manage the teams, control and coordinate workload, drive quality, consistency, and improvements within the function.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Head of IT Operations, you'll be doing the following:
- You will be responsible for the performance of the IT Operations function, ensuring we are meeting the business need and achieving core targets and KPI’s.
- You will drive continuous improvement and work closely with our Technology Operations Director and other business functions to ensure that our services align to their need
- To be responsible for the professional development of all direct reports, ensuring that appropriate support, supervision, performance management, appraisal and training is in place.
- Ensure effective resource management and succession planning within the IT operations teams.
- Lead, manage and motivate the IT Operations function, providing clear objectives and constructive feedback.
- Conduct regular 1-2-1 supervision to ensure the well-being of direct reports and obtain assurance as to the well-being of all indirect reports.
What We're Looking For:
- Problem-solving skills within an IT environment.
- IT project background essential.
- Planning, critical and strategic thinking.
- Ability to assist in strategic planning, results-based management, and reporting.
- Process improvement across new store and new service teams.
- Successful project and programme delivery within IT Operations function.
