E-commerce Executive

  • Job Title – HIP Digital Content Executive
  • Location – BL9 8RR
  • Working rota – Monday - Friday
  • Working hours – 40
  • Working model – 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home 

Role overview: 
The Purpose of this role is to work alongside the digital teams to maintain and develop the creative content across all digital channels. You will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day site updates whilst working alongside various teams including marketing, creative and development to execute campaigns and promotions from brief to delivery. You will perform regular site checks to ensure best possible customer journeys are in place as well as picking up and resolving any issues with the relevant teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the authority on all creative and customer facing aspects of the size? Group websites, ensuring we achieve our goal of being a best-in-class e-commerce sites.
  • Day to day responsibility of updating and maintaining all content across the size? Group websites including apps, utilising various platforms and CMS tools.
  • Work with trade and marketing teams on ensuring all relevant product is being promoted and showcased in the best way possible in line with trading plans.
  • Briefing creative teams and managing the roll out of assets to suit all channels and territories.
  • Working with the wider team to develop site improvements and drive innovation that increases onsite conversion, view product and add to cart across desktop and mobile.
  • Ensure brand guidelines and creative consistency is executed across UK & EU territories and all responsible channels.
  • Ensure that the customer journey is smooth and effective from all marketing touch points through to purchase.
  • Continually monitor competitor activity and relevant creative sources for inspiration and share with the wider team.
  • Manage campaigns and promotional activity to ensure timed content hits deadline
  • Ensure relevant updates to landing pages/brand pages etc
  • Review site metrics to understand and optimise performance, making sure set clear and measurable actions to improve KPIs
  • Daily site crawling to ensure everything is up to date

Role objectives and KPI’s:

  • Develop strong relationships across the business including with the merchandising, marketing, retail & buying teams.
  • All site metrics are constantly reviewed and actions taken to improve – for example, engagement and conversion rate is constantly kept above a set benchmark. While aiding on the design and ensuring we’re always industry-leading.
  • Work with trade team to understand sales targets and support in taking actions to deliver plan.
  • Work with marketing and creative to ensure full digital requirements are given and executed.
  • Understand and support individual channel targets to deliver the right content needed to achieve plans.
  • Help improve site conversion and view product by ensuring best in class creative is executed – with sign off responsibilities.
