Supply Chain Management Specialist (m/f/d)

Mission Brief 

As a Supply Chain Management Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services in accordance with company guidelines and requirements.

Your Role in Our Space Mission: 

• Responsible for purchasing goods and services according to company needs. Source and purchase specialized materials, equipment, and services necessary for the operation of the launch site.
• Work closely with the central procurement team in Isar Germany to leverage existing supplier relationships, negotiated contracts, and technical expertise for relevant equipment and services.
• Generate, process, and administer detailed procurement documentation (e.g., purchase orders, contracts, invoices), ensuring all records are accurately completed, stored, and maintained for traceability and audit purposes in our system (SAP).
• Obtain and compare quotes from various suppliers.
• Monitor and evaluate suppliers regarding quality, price, and delivery performance
• Work closely with production, warehouse, and other departments to ensure proper flow of goods.
• Register and update purchase orders in the SAP and Xledger system
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement routines and processes
• Ensure documentation and compliance with internal procedures and regulations
• Participating in projects and assist in tender processes if required

Qualification Checklist 

• Education/experience in economics, logistics, procurement, or similar fields
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial understanding
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian
• Experience with SAP and Xledger systems and excel
• Structured, accurate, and solution oriented working style
• Good collaboration skills across teams and locations
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• High integrity and sense of responsibility
