Mission Brief

Join Isar Aerospace as the Director of People Operations and become a crucial part of our journey to revolutionise space technology. We seek a dedicated leader who can seamlessly integrate into our performance-driven culture, navigate modern HR tools, and manage compliance matters on an international scale. 

Your Role in Our Space Mission

  • Lead the people operations team, as center of expertise
  • Develop and maintain structured and organised HR operations with a keen eye for detail
  • Oversee compliance matters, including labor law, payroll topics, and social taxes
  • Navigate and use modern HR tools effectively
  • Act as an approachable and communicative leader, fostering a positive workplace atmosphere
  • Collaborate and negotiate with work unions and councils, on an international scale

Qualification Checklist 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years as an HR generalist
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience
  • Experience in managing different subsidiaries or having worked abroad, ideally in Sweden, Norway or the U.S
  • Strong understanding of labour law, payroll, and social taxes
  • Proficiency in SAP and Workday
  • Structured and organized approach to HR operations, strong attention to detail
  • Ability to foster a positive and communicative workplace atmosphere
  • Fluent in English and German

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with work unions and councils on an international scale
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Experience in managing M&A activities, including Betriebsübergang
