To accelerate our partner-first strategy in the UK market, we’re hiring a Partner Channel Manager to develop and manage high-impact relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), System Integrators (SIs), IT Resellers, ISVs, and Consulting firms. This pivotal role sits within our Global Alliances team and focuses on driving cloud adoption through strategic partnerships.

 

What will you be doing?

As Partner Channel Manager, you will:

  • Develop and execute a strategic partner plan with clear objectives, initiatives, and revenue targets.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage key partnerships with cloud-native consulting firms, SIs, MSPs, and ISVs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Solutions Architecture, and Product Management to drive joint go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.
  • Lead regular pipeline reviews and performance tracking to ensure alignment with growth KPIs and ROI.
  • Deliver technical and sales enablement programs, including IONOS certifications and training.
  • Evangelize the IONOS Cloud value proposition internally and externally, presenting at partner events, webinars, and executive briefings.
  • Manage complex partner negotiations, coordinating inputs from legal, marketing, finance, and leadership teams.
  • Present business reviews to IONOS and partner senior leadership, ensuring visibility and alignment on performance and opportunities.
  • Drive Cloud and AI project pipeline development through proactive partner engagement.

 

What experience do you need under your belt?

  • 7+ years’ experience in channel sales, business development, or partner management within cloud or enterprise software sectors.
  • Proven success in quota-carrying roles, exceeding performance metrics and growing partner ecosystems.
  • Ability to engage and influence C-level executives and decision-makers across large organizations.
  • Experience working with System Integrators and Consulting Companies on co-selling, solution development, and GTM.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), and emerging technologies such as AI.
  • A university degree in Business, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Highly structured, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial in approach.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

 

Experience of the following is advantageous but not essential to the hiring process:

  • Prior experience in direct enterprise sales and GTM execution with global or regional partners.
  • Deep network within the UK IT channel ecosystem.
  • Understanding of partner funding programs and measurable ROI strategies.
  • Track record of building cloud or software partner programs from the ground up.
