Manual Quality Assurance Engineer for IONOS Cloud Quality Team (f/m/d)

About the team:

You will join the Cloud Quality Team responsible for ensuring the quality of the IONOS Cloud Platform, one of our most strategic products. As a new leadership role, this position offers the opportunity to build a QA team from scratch, shape its culture and processes, and collaborate directly with development and product teams. You will work in a hybrid setup from our Cebu office, with close collaboration across international IONOS teams.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and execute manual test cases for web applications;
• Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts;
• Perform regression and cross-browser testing to ensure consistent UX;
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues clearly and effectively;
• Collaborate with developers and the QA Team Lead;
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and best practices;
• Participate in testing the DCD and integrations with the API.

We appreciate:

• Knowledge of QA methodology and tools;
• Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches and tools;
• Familiarity with UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright);
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and related technologies;
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and using the command line;
• Cloud platform experience (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP).

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge of PHP and JavaScript;
• Experience working in a monolith architecture;
• Experience with Cypress or TestCafe.
