In our Mail Development Team, we design innovative IT solutions that are perfectly tailored to the professional needs and communication requirements of our customers. Together with renowned partners like OpenXchange, Google, and Microsoft, we develop a top-class portfolio of products - from business email accounts to comprehensive office suites. Join our dynamic development team, which uses agile methods and the latest cloud technologies. Your tasks will include:

Tasks

• You will develop highly scalable Java services, combining them with open-source solutions and successfully operating them in Kubernetes environments. This includes maintaining Docker images and their container environments.
• You will actively advise the product management team on the implementation of functional requirements and serve as a technical contact for our internal and external partners.
• You will design, develop, and operate systems, products, and functions independently - from design to rollout to ongoing operation.
• You will work with the team to continuously optimize our agile development and delivery processes, contributing to improving our processes and achieving our goals

Qualifications

As an ideal candidate, you have completed a degree in computer science or a comparable education. You already have initial experience in professional software development. Your key competencies include:

• Excellent knowledge of Java and experience in developing scalable REST services with Spring Boot.
• Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and ORM technologies like Hibernate is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Java messaging frameworks and the use of CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes is desirable.
• Ideally, you have an interest in or initial experience with modern tools like Terraform, Elasticsearch, Fluent Bit, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages, such as JavaScript, Go, Node.js, and Python, is also an advantage.
