Working student (f/m/d) Technical Writer

Tasks

• Assist in the management and updates of the content management system with all Cloud product documentation.
• Collaborate with technical writers to draft, update, and deliver concise technical documentation across various product lines.
• Support document change processes and participate in periodic documentation releases.
• Aid in the review and management of technical documentation produced by product and design teams.
• Apply document templates and standards to help develop documentation like how-to guides, API references, and user manuals.
• Contribute to maintaining the central repository for all technical documentation.
• Work alongside product engineering teams to assist in creating and standardizing product documentation.
• Engage in cross-functional collaborations to continuously improve documentation.
• Interface with UX teams to help create and review in-product UI text and error messages.
• Test procedures and workflows to ensure their accuracy and provide feedback to development teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in English, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Interest or experience in cloud computing/web services.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative work environments.
• Experience or familiarity with a "Docs-as-Code" workflow is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to plan content effectively.
• A quick learner with the ability to understand new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic understanding or experience in documenting REST APIs and development languages.
• Technical proficiency in tools such as Git, Markdown, DITA, OpenAPI/Swagger, Confluence, and JIRA is advantageous.
