About the Role
To expand our team in Berlin, we are hiring a Managers Licensing Administration (m/f/d) on a fixed-term contract (2 years) basis. Please note the 2 year limited contract has an opportunity to be extended.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Online Processing team, you take care of managing the online processing for the different licenses between the DSPs (Digital Service Provider) and our customers
- You are responsible for the coordination between the different department-internal teams (ingestion, music identification and contracts & repertoire) on one and the commercial, finance and account management teams on the other side
- You are triggering and overseeing the royalty calculation, invoicing and distribution processes and are analyzing and assuring the quality of the outputs of these processes
- You prepare and present statistics and forecasts for internal and external use and help answer queries from internal and external stakeholders
- You are using internal databases and analysis tools and develop and test them further, according to the business requirements.
- You work in complex international projects in the online sector and are a part in shaping the future of music licensing and processing
Requirements and Qualifications:
- University degree in the fields of Economics, Information Technology, Communication/ Media Science/ Media Management or you completed a German-Dual-System vocational training in a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of work experience in a multi-disciplined, multi-cultural environment.
- high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products with a strong emphasis in MS Excel.
- Fluent verbal and written English skills.
- Empathy and cultural understanding to communicate/negotiate to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to properly convey the organisational vision and company goals and objectives.
- Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organisation and work effectively with team/department members to resolve interdepartmental issues.
- Analytical qualities to make solid decisions, through the conceptualization and evaluation of different courses of action to meet or exceed operational goals.
- Ability to manage commercially sensitive and confidential information with total discretion, tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and make decisions to favourably impact the overall business.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and rapidly growing/changing work environment; demonstrated organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Self-motivated with a proclivity for action and a keen sense of urgency.
- Industry knowledge of the music market and knowledge of SQL are beneficial.
