Why this role matters
Payments Analyst leads the full requirements lifecycle — from business needs discovery to delivery support and data-driven decision-making. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, designing solutions from scratch, and deep analysis using tools such as Grafana, Metabase, and Amplitude. Payment Analyst works closely with the Payment Operations team, Customer Support, end-users, and all technical teams within Payments. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on payment products, clarity of requirements, and measurable business outcomes.
The role is based in our office in Limassol, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.
What you'll actually do
- Lead end-to-end requirements elicitation and impact analysis using diverse techniques to address business needs, non-functional requirements, exceptions, and edge cases.
- Define high-quality, clear, testable, consistent, and traceable requirements.
- Identify and propose product solutions by combining product expertise, UX insights, and data-driven analysis of user behaviour.
- Work with multiple data sources and perform analysis to support key product and business decisions.
- Synthesise input from multiple sources to drive clarity in complex or ambiguous situations.
- Build analytical reports and dashboards to support product insights and business decision-making.
- Capture functional requirements using Use Cases and User Stories, ensuring full coverage of main, alternative, and exception flows with clear acceptance criteria.
- Independently manage stakeholder communication and ensure shared understanding of scope, goals, and expectations.
- Lead feature and project delivery, managing scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication while aligning with Team Leads and Product Owners on priorities and requirements.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in Business Analysis, Product Management, or Data Analytics (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum) are considered an advantage
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst or Data Analyst
- Relevant business domain knowledge
- Experience managing the full requirements lifecycle (including elicitation, analysis, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, change management, and version control)
- Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and requirements reviews.
- Ability to produce clear, unambiguous, testable, consistent, and traceable requirements.
- Experience in defining and documenting requirements using Use Cases and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on experience in designing solutions from scratch
- Understanding of basic concepts of UI/UX
- Grafana (log and metrics analysis), Metabase (reporting and dashboards).
- Working knowledge of Amplitude (building reports and extract insights)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while aligning with team goals with strong analytical thinking
