Why this role matters
The Operations Manager is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of Exness Retail’s new operational hub and its outsourcing arrangements with the rest of the Exness Group. The role includes responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with key local government stakeholders, safeguarding the reputation of the local company and Exness Group, and promoting Exness Group's values and culture.
The above imply good knowledge of the company's operations, working knowledge of the applicable regulatory and legal framework, and immersing oneself in the company culture. Important duties include identifying misalignments with company objectives, taking appropriate remedial action, and notifying relevant stakeholders within the Exness Group.
The role requires a high degree of ownership of objectives and project management, including monitoring the implementation of different projects and ensuring that milestones are being met throughout the duration of such projects. The role will report to the Directors of the Company.
What you'll actually do
- Setting up and maintaining the group’s local office in line with the group’s strategic objectives, and liaise with group functions and companies to achieve such strategic objectives
- Ensuring that the daily operations of the company run smoothly and in accordance with the relevant laws and directives
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations and also monitoring and evaluating the performance of the company’s employees
- Monitoring, Research, and Analysis of Legislation
- Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Liaise with the Head of Government Affairs and the group companies to enforce anti-money laundering and compliance procedures
- Ensuring that all required reports are filed with the competent authorities on a timely manner
- Ensuring that local and global tax and outsourcing requirements are fulfilled by proper monitoring and documentation of the business
- Draft and review management reports to the board of directors and to group companies, including documenting meeting minutes and company decisions
Who we’re looking for
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- Previous working experience in the CFD industry
- Previous work experience as an Operations Manager is highly advantageous
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine interest in financial markets
