Business Intelligence Analyst

Malaysia

At Exness, we are not just a leading trading broker—we’ve reimagined what it takes to be a leader. With 40M+ trades a day and 2,000+ people across 13 countries, we combine scale, care, and real tech to make trading better for 1M+ clients worldwide.

Recognised globally as a Best Place to Work, we’re a people-first company where long-term wins always matter more. As part of our team, you will shape the future of fintech with real technology, care, and purpose.

Why this role matters

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will turn data into clear, actionable insights through strong analysis and compelling visualizations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs, design effective dashboards and reports, and support decision-making with data-driven recommendations.

The role is based in our Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

What you'll actually do

  • Collect raw data from systems like CRM, finance, and product analytics, then clean and validate it to ensure accuracy. Use statistical and analytical techniques to identify patterns, answer business questions, and provide a solid foundation for decision-making.
  • Create intuitive, visually compelling dashboards in Tableau (and other BI tools when needed) that allow stakeholders to monitor performance, drill into details, and explore insights in real time.
  • Take large, technical datasets and distill them into narratives that are easy to understand. Present findings using charts, visuals, and storytelling techniques so that both technical teams and business leaders can act on them quickly.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data pipelines, consistent sources, and aligned definitions. Provide feedback on data needs for reporting and help prioritize improvements to ensure stakeholders always have trusted, up-to-date data.
  • Work closely with teams across product, sales, marketing, and operations to understand their goals. Help define the right KPIs, set up reporting to track progress, and surface early signals of opportunities or risks.
  • Develop and maintain data documentation, reporting standards, and visualization best practices.

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in data visualization, BI tools, or analytics are a plus (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist).
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field.
  • Prior experience in building dashboards, analyzing business performance, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau (required); experience with additional BI tools is an advantage.
  • Solid SQL skills for querying, joining, and analyzing datasets.
  • Strong data visualization and storytelling abilities, with attention to clarity and design.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with advanced data analysis functions.
  • Exposure to Python for advanced analytics, statistical modeling, or automation is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate raw data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to adapt findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver results under deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented mindset combined with problem-solving creativity.

What we offer along the way

  • Competitive salary and annual performance bonus
  • Full relocation support for you and your family — flights, housing, visas, and legal assistance included
  • Top-tier health insurance with full family coverage — medical, dental, vision, mental health — plus life insurance for peace of mind
  • Unlimited learning opportunities: external courses, English lessons, career and leadership development
  • Education allowance covering school and kindergarten fees
  • 21 working days of annual leave, plus public holidays and fully paid sick, maternity, and paternity leave
  • Employee appreciation program: branded gifts, birthday day-offs, celebration budgets for weddings, newborns, and milestones
  • “Get to know Team” trips — meet colleagues across our global hubs, along with company-wide offsites that raise the bar
  • Employee share scheme — grow with us
