Why this role matters
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for the health, stability, and performance of our large-scale distributed systems and platform infrastructure. You will leverage an engineering mindset to drive automation, improve reliability, and balance the speed of feature delivery with system resilience.
The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.
What you'll actually do
- Leverage full observability data for platform performance and health insights
-Analyze information from the entire observability stack, including logs, traces, and performance indicators, across operating systems and applications to identify system bottlenecks and proactively diagnose and resolve issues. - Collaborate with development teams on service improvements.
-Work alongside software developers to refine and strengthen services through robust quality assurance and structured deployment processes. - Manage incidents and drive root cause analysis.
-Coordinate all incident response activities, conduct thorough blameless post-event reviews, and finalize deep-dive analyses into issue origins. - Advance platform sustainability through continuous automation.
-Develop and implement automated solutions and infrastructure improvements to build highly reliable and enduring systems and services. - Ensure system reliability meets defined Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
-Strategically align the pace of new feature delivery with system stability by adhering to and managing established Service Level Objectives. - Provide system design, platform and capacity guidance.
-Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning. - Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
-Knowledge sharing, mentoring, providing training material and workshops.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of strong hands-on Linux experience.
- Experience programming in Golang, Python, C++, or Java.
- Understanding of Linux based operation systems and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
- Experience with services such as load balancers, relational databases, messaging systems, and orchestration systems.
- Demonstrated expertise with containerisation in a hybrid environment.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of the IaC approach.
- Experience analyzing and troubleshooting systems.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, frameworks, and architectures

Bonus points: - Experience working with globally distributed systems or infrastructure.
- Fluency in Golang.
- Experience with Nginx, HaProxy, Traefik, Istio, Consul Mesh.
- Experience with Postgres, Clickhouse, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Etcd, Zookeeper, Consul, Redis, Kafka.
- Experience with Graylog, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Opentelemetry, Sentry, DataDog.
- Experience with Windows-based operating systems and associated infrastructure.
- Experience with Amazon AWS, Alibaba, or Google clouds.
