Why this role matters

The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

As a Linux Server Engineer at Exness, you will be responsible for the design, operation, and continuous improvement of Linux-based infrastructure that supports highly available, secure, and business-critical fintech systems.

The role focuses on ensuring stability, performance, and scalability of core infrastructure services while collaborating closely with DevOps, SRE, Security, and Product teams to support fast and reliable delivery of services.

What you'll actually do

  • Core Infrastructure Services Management: Operate and support critical infrastructure services such as DNS, NTP, LDAP, SMTP, Vault, and related components, ensuring correctness, resilience, and security.
  • Automation and Infrastructure as Code: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, configuration management, GitOps workflows, CI/CD).
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Participate in the design, implementation, and validation of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, including regular testing and continuous improvement of failover procedures.

Who we’re looking for

  • Operate and maintain Linux-based (primarily Red Hat) production servers, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Manage core infrastructure services (DNS, NTP, LDAP, SMTP, Vault) with a focus on security, resilience, and correctness.
  • Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation (Ansible, Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Red Hat, LPIC, and Cloud Native certifications are a plus.
  • 5+ years of Linux administration experience in production, supporting business-critical and high-availability systems.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and cross-functional collaboration (DevOps, SRE, Security, Product Engineering).
  • Strong ownership mindset, critical thinking, troubleshooting skills, and commitment to continuous learning.

What we offer along the way

  • Competitive salary and annual performance bonus
  • Full relocation support for you and your family — flights, housing, visas, and legal assistance included
