
Global People Operations Team Lead
Why this role matters
The Global People Operations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and continuously improving all centralized, global business-as-usual (BAU) People Operations processes across Exness, ensuring accurate operational execution, consistent global service delivery, standardized processes, and strong cross-site alignment. The role owns global SOPs and SLAs, People Operations data practices, onboarding and offboarding workflows, payroll coordination support, and quality controls, while leading the core People Operations delivery engine to ensure scalable, repeatable, and compliant operational practices that support Exness’s ongoing global growth.
What you'll actually do
Global BAU Ownership & Operational Delivery
- Lead execution of globalised BAU processes: onboarding, offboarding, employee data changes, induction, employment document workflows, and payroll coordination support.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all global People Ops processes.
- Maintain service quality through SLAs and structured operational routines.
Process Standardisation & Continuous Improvement
- Own and maintain global People Operations SOPs, workflows, templates, and operational documentation.
- Standardise core processes across offices to ensure global consistency.
- Identify efficiency gaps and implement improvements in partnership with the Ops Excellence Lead.
Data Accuracy, Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure global accuracy of employee data, records, and documentation.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal controls through operational checks.
- Build routines for ongoing audit readiness in all People Ops processes.
Cross-Site Coordination & Follow-the-Sun Execution
- Lead the People Operations delivery model across all offices to ensure seamless support across time zones.
- Work closely with Regional HR Managers to ensure global processes land properly in each office.
- Ensure predictable, scalable delivery of high-volume global processes.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Manage and develop global People Operations team members.
- Strengthen team capability in HRIS (Bob), data quality, global process execution, and service excellence.
- Embed operational discipline, ownership, and continuous improvement culture.
Operational Insights & Service Health
- Track KPIs, accuracy metrics, SLAs, cycle times, and operational maturity indicators.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on data trends and operational patterns.
- Partner with Ops Excellence Lead to align on governance, process mapping, and maturity goals.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with HRBPs, Legal, Compliance, Finance, IT, and Regional HR Managers to ensure smooth People Ops execution.
- Serve as the operational execution partner for new policies, system rollouts, and lifecycle processes.
Who we’re looking for
Education and certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Operations, or related field.
- HR or People Ops certifications are a plus.
- Exposure to operational excellence, change management, HR systems, or project management is an advantage.
Field and the level of experience
- 5+ years in People Operations, HR Operations, shared services, service delivery, or global operational roles.
- Previous experience in leading teams. Experience with teams spread across geographical locations would be a plus.
- Proven experience running high-volume employee lifecycle operations end-to-end (onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, documentation, HRIS data integrity).
- Experience leading centralised Ops delivery and/or supporting multi-location execution across stakeholders and time zones is highly desirable
- Demonstrated track record of raising service standards through SOPs, controls, SLAs, and continuous improvement.
- Strong capability operating in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities, ambiguity, and tight deadlines.

- Strong understanding of People Operations processes and HRIS systems (preferably HiBob), including data governance and audit readiness.
- Ability to build and maintain scalable SOPs, workflows, templates, and service documentation that teams can execute consistently.
- Strong operational controls mindset: accuracy checks, exception handling, risk mitigation, and quality assurance.
- High proficiency in reporting and operational tracking: ability to monitor SLAs, cycle time, backlog health, error rates, and service KPIs.
- Strong ability to drive operational execution while partnering with cross-functional teams (HRBPs, Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT).
