Why this role matters

You will be part of the Windows Engineering Team, acting as a Subject Matter Expert in Windows Server and core Microsoft infrastructure.

The role focuses on designing, operating, and continuously improving a large-scale Windows Server environment, including deep troubleshooting, performance analysis, and root cause investigations across both physical and virtual platforms.

You will work with a highly distributed hybrid infrastructure (2000+ Windows servers) hosted across on-premise VMware and multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, AliCloud), ensuring stability, security, automation, and operational excellence of the Windows platform.

The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

What you'll actually do

  • Support and develop Active Directory infrastructure and core Windows services in production and non-production environments.
  • Act as an expert in troubleshooting Windows system stability and performance issues, performing deep root cause analysis on complex incidents across large-scale environments.
  • Manage Windows OS lifecycle, compliance, and patching automation using SCCM, ensuring predictable and secure update processes.
  • Take ownership of security aspects of the Windows Server infrastructure, working closely with the Security team on hardening, incident response, and implementation of security best practices.
  • Design and implement automation for routine and complex operational tasks using PowerShell, SCCM, and Ansible.
  • Participate in designing and improving infrastructure solutions with a focus on scalability, resilience, and long-term maintainability.
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance to service administrators and other engineering teams.
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for Windows infrastructure, standards, and operational procedures.

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Relevant Microsoft or cloud certifications are a plus.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Windows System / Server Engineer in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Experience working with high-availability, performance-sensitive, or regulated infrastructures is a strong advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory environments
  • Hands-on experience with Certificate Services (AD CS), including troubleshooting and debugging
  • Deep troubleshooting skills using Sysinternals, xPerf, WPA, WinDBG
  • Strong PowerShell automation skills (3+ years of practical experience)
