We are a high-impact engineering group within the trading department building mission-critical services that support both internal operations and client-facing products. Our systems handle large volumes of real-time data and are used daily by first-line support agents.

What you'll actually do

  • Consistently deliver core product features that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Write clean, secure, efficient code, perform thorough testing and debugging, and ensure seamless integration with other components while optimizing for scalability and addressing technical debt.
  • Write well-documented code and automation tests with strong coverage. Improve testing practices across the team.
  • Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and maintain documentation that meets company standards. Constantly work to improve code quality.
  • Tackle complex architectural and performance problems.
  • Drive improvements to service latency, fault tolerance, and resilience in high-load environments.
  • Drive architecture discussions and influence technical decisions not only within the team but also across the department
  • Prepare clear technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
  • Promote and apply clean code principles and best engineering practices.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and contribute to performance optimizations.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for beneficial adoption.
  • Participate in technical interviews, share knowledge with peers, and contribute to improving team processes and standards.
  • Suggest and drive technical improvements.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing growth of team members.

Who we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of backend software development.
  • Preferred: Commercial experience with Go
  • Experience with Python (FastAPI/Django)
  • Experience acting as a code reviewer.
  • Experience with high-load, concurrency, and multithreading backend systems.
  • Microservice development experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in financial/market-based software development or distributed systems
  • Strong skills in building reliable and scalable services (design, APIs, storage, testing, CI/CD).
  • Strong expertise in SQL.
  • Experience with LLM systems, prompt engineering, MCP-based integrations is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of modern development practices (version control, reviews, branching, releases).
  • Solid experience with ORM and DBMS, including database architecture.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, system design, and integration patterns.
  • Solid experience with DevOps tools and practices: operating systems, monitoring, networking models, virtualization, and containerization.
  • Experience in software testing: unit, integration, and load tests.
  • Experience in debugging, profiling, and code optimizations.
  • Ability to use advanced English for different work and business purposes.
  • Soft skills: excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong time management and multitasking skills; proactive continuous learner; able to work independently in fast-paced environments; high attention to detail and quality; strong communication and ownership mindset; effective collaboration with cross-functional teams (Tech Leads, UI/UX, SEs, QA, Product, BSA).
