Internal Infrastructure Engineer

Your role at Exness:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Internal Infrastructure Engineer to join our Internal IT team. This role is vital to maintaining and supporting the company’s infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across all internal systems. You'll play a key part in onboarding, support, inventory, and infrastructure maintenance, especially during office expansions and IT-related projects.
You will:
Team & Project Coordination
- Assist in managing project tasks, particularly for office openings and infrastructure deployments we which require conducting proper planning and preparation in terms of equipment calculation, provision, and installation
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, other teams, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and collaboration.
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Provision and configure IT equipment for new hires.
- Collect and manage IT assets from departing employees
- Ensure seamless transition of users with minimal downtime.
IT Support & Ticketing
- Respond to tech inquiries via email, through online chats, over the phone, or in person were needed and maintain SLA compliance.
- Act as the first point of contact for L1 Support for issue resolution related to hardware and software.
- Inform customers about IT products and services
- Walk customers step-by-step through the problem-solving process
- Help with troubleshooting hardware and software
- Communicate customer feedback to the appropriate internal team members
Equipment & Storage Management
- Maintenance and service were possible for laptops, desktops, printers, UPS, and other hardware.
- Coordinate and arrange Service and Support Visits with company-preapproved Vendors
- Organize, keep tight, and secure IT storage areas.
- Ensure proper inventory tracking using internal systems.
General Technical Support
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components.
- Perform and acknowledge basic network cabling and troubleshooting.
- Support internal applications, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
- Perform light infrastructure administration tasks, including monitoring, scheduling, and reporting.
- Ensure good working condition of all IT equipment, including laptops, computers, screens, printers, UPS devices, TVs, and meeting room equipment
- Perform screen installations at workplaces, mount TVs and meeting Room equipment where needed and requested, and ensure proper and quality cable management for all cases.
- Work closely with the Network team and manage the installation of network equipment such as Routers, Switches, and WiFi Access Points, ensuring proper and quality cable management.
- Coordinate and arrange service and support visits with company-approved vendors
- Organize, maintain, and secure IT storage areas
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking using internal systems
- As part of a team that provides a variety of IT services, should be able to deliver audio-visual support for events using AV equipment owned by the team, and coordinate closely with event teams to ensure the best possible outcome.
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in desktop, laptop, and basic network support.
- 2+ years of knowledge of Mac OS, with basic familiarity with Windows and Linux.
- 2+ years supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and experience in troubleshooting hardware and software.
- The ability to break down technological processes and deliver clear, step-by-step instructions.
- Patient, friendly demeanor with a great aptitude for listening.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work with tools and hardware provided to mount equipment and ensure proper cable management where needed.
Nice to have:
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Linux (RedHat), Microsoft hardware, AWS.
- Experience with network hardware installation and configuration (Huawei and Cisco).
- Understanding of Wi-Fi technologies and OSI model principles.
- Experience in diagnosing connectivity and network issues.
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge
