Senior Payments Reconciliation Officer

Your role at Exness:
Your primary focus is to help harmonize and optimize our global payment processes. This role will allow you to manage complex reconciliation projects, contribute to a high-stakes financial landscape, and play a pivotal role in supporting the accuracy and integrity of Exness’s financial data.
You will:
- Lead Reconciliation Projects: Take charge of reconciliation initiatives and ensure accuracy across our payments ecosystem. Collaborate closely with Payments Reconciliation Management to address and streamline reconciliation processes.
- Support Team Excellence: Guide and assist team members with complex cases, particularly those involving unusual provider activities, and provide insights on best practices.
- Ensure Consistency and Accuracy: Identify and report discrepancies in processes, with a proactive approach to improving internal controls and compliance.
- Advanced Transaction Reconciliation: Perform and oversee complex reconciliation tasks for key external providers.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare insightful reports to support strategic decision-making, and provide reconciliation data to Finance for month-end reporting and audit requirements.
- Develop New Templates: Establish new reconciliation templates for both local and global providers, adapting to evolving payment channels and regional variations.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Partner with other departments to ensure transparency on provider inconsistencies, assist auditors with evidence requests, and maintain clear documentation.
- Daily Operational Support: Assist the Payments Reconciliation Manager in overseeing daily operations, continuously enhancing reconciliation procedures.
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
- A minimum of 3 years in a payments reconciliation role, ideally in FinTech, or payments processing background.
- Strong investigative skills and familiarity with payment provider dynamics, particularly local payment systems and credit card networks.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel is required; familiarity with additional reconciliation or any financial software is a plus.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with composure, working effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, maintain accountability, and see tasks through to completion.
