Trading Core Support Engineer

Your role at Exness:

The Market-making operations Team within Exness combines unique expertise, knowledge, and responsibilities to continuously improve the pricing, execution models, and trading experience of our clients. 

Trading Core Support Engineer is an expert responsible for the administration of the core trading functions, maintaining trading platform components to provide the highest quality of services to clients. As a source of unique knowledge and experience, a Trading core engineer also plays a crucial role in supporting all the teams within the Company to achieve ambitious goals together.

You will:

• Monitoring of vital metrics ensuring the highest quality of service in shifts
• Supporting delivery of new features and components
• Testing new products and features
• Developing tools and services for automation of routine tasks
• Resolving complicated inquiries related to the trading platform
• Monitoring of vital metrics ensuring the highest quality of service
• Identifying anomalies in pricing and execution
• Working hand to hand with the risk monitoring team to respond to urgent requests in a timely manner
• Providing expert knowledge support for colleagues
• Working with the developers and DevOps to create and bring to live new features and services

What makes you a great fit:

• 1+ years experience in MetaQuotes (MT4, MT5) or another trading platform administration
• 1+ years experience in supporting brokerage trading platform environment (LPs, execution core engine, DBs, client applications)
• Experience in setting up monitoring and alerting mechanisms (Grafana, Prometheus or similar)
• Experience is script writing and programming (Python, R, Powershell, Bash, GIT)
• Experience in DevOps (Hashicorp, GIT pipelines, Teamcity or similar)
• Experience in DBs (PostgreSQL, Clickhouse or similar)

Professional Knowledge and Skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge of spot forex, CFDs & OTC products
• Understanding of B2C and B2B models
• Basic knowledge of Data Analysis (Python, Excel, Charting)

Advantage would be:

• Strong knowledge of the Company products
• Minimum degree or equivalent educated
• Knowledge of FIX, API connectivity protocols
