Windows Server Engineer

Your role at Exness:

You will be part of the Windows Engineering Team, acting as a Subject Matter Expert in the Windows OS area. 

In this role, your primary responsibility will be administering the Windows environment, driving performance troubleshooting, and root cause investigations on both physical and virtual Windows servers (2000+ VMs) hosted in a hybrid environment (VMWare, AWS, AliCloud, Azure)

You will:

  • Support ActiveDirectory infrastructure and related services in production and testing environments
  • Manage software lifecycle, compliance and Windows patching automation through SCCM
  • Work closely with the Security Department to implement security best practices and solutions
  • Play an expert role in troubleshooting Windows system stability and performance issues and participate in developing infrastructure solutions ensuring reliability and scalability.
  •  Automate routine tasks with PowerShell, SCCM, and Ansible
  •  Participating in IT infrastructure development projects.
  •  Providing support to service administrators and other Teams.
  • Creating and updating documentation about Windows infrastructure

What makes you a great fit:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Windows System Administrator
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory environment
  • Experience working with System Center Configuration Manager
  • Strong understanding of systems automation using PowerShell, with at least 3 years of experience
  • Base experience with cloud computing technologies (Azure VM, AWS EC2, AliCloud ECS, etc.)
  • Experience with VMware VM
  • Debugging skills, hands-on experience with Sysinternals suite, xPerf, WPA, WinDBG

Nice to have: 

  • Experience with Ansible
  • Microsoft Certification
  • Experience with Git
