Data Engineer (Client Interaction Platforms Team)

Your role at Exness:

We are looking for a strong Data Engineer for our Client Interaction Platforms Team who will drive our Customer Relationships & Service Development, focused on providing solutions for the needs of our customer facing teams.

You will:

• Assemble large, complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements (business cases).
• Prepare datasets from various sources by request.
• Take care of data warehousing as a process.
• Implement and support data model changes.
• Develop new integrations and data marts.
• Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
• Describe entities and lineage in our data catalog.

What makes you a great fit:

• Strong experience with relational databases like Vertica, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, BigQuery, and similar. MPP databases experience is a plus;
• Technical knowledge of RDBMS database design in data warehousing context and query optimization;
• Сonsiderable expertise in data architecture, data modeling, data storage, data security, data quality;
• Experience building ETLs/ELTs to take from various data sources and process data;
• Python skills associated with ETL, ETL-tools (e.g. DBT);
• Expert structured query language (SQL) knowledge;
• Understanding of base principles CI/CD in the data processing area.
  Experience with Data Catalog frameworks using;
• Good communication and problem-solving skills;
• Spoken and written at least Intermediate English;
• Detail-oriented and critical thinking;
• Decision-making and adapting to new changes;
• Write concise and clear documentation;
• Deal with constructive critics and know how to develop relationships with the team to achieve common goals;
• A good work ethic.
