Business System Analyst (Risk Control)

Your role at Exness:
We are currently looking for a Business System Analyst. Our Risk Control Team, is crucial in developing a mission-critical internal product designed to prevent risks related to payment transactions. This product uses sophisticated algorithms and tools for analyzing data and detects anomalies in transactions to protect company from any kinds of abuses in payment product.
If you are not already located in Cyprus, relocation to Cyprus is a requirement for this role.
You will:
- Gathering and formalizing requirements to fulfill business objectives, defining use cases. Close collaboration with stakeholders, Product, and external teams.
- Resolving inconsistencies and gaps in requirements, identifying corner cases and system limitations.
- Developing the system design considering platform architecture, strategic goals, future product needs (including architectural diagrams, contracts, and FRD).
- High-level task decomposition, managing (populating and keeping up-to-date) the development backlog and roadmap (tracking dependencies and delivery priorities).
- Orchestrating cross-team projects when our team acts as the driver.
- Acceptance testing (checking alignment with business requirements), close interaction with QA regarding test coverage.
- Active participation in solution rollouts and effectiveness analysis, post-production support.
- Researching data sources for integration, including their contracts.
- Filtering incoming requirements from adjacent tech teams (“Why is this needed? How will it be used?“), validating proposed solutions.
What makes you a great fit:
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant role with strong technical knowledge. Understanding of common development concepts, abstractions and their pros & cons, like sync/async interactions, caching & failover strategies, messaging patterns (inboxes and outboxes, guaranties of delivery).
- Solid experience of making sequence diagrams, flow diagrams, describing use cases, API contracts, domain models.
- Ability to read code (Go or Python).
- Solid SQL knowledge.
- Experience with at least one programming language will be considered highly advantageous.
- Ability to dive deep into product, to get understanding of the product vision, its roadmap, and business goals, ability to anticipate future product needs when closing current tasks.
- Strong grasp of the platform’s architecture and its technology evolution; strong ability to keep in mind the architecture and map the requirements onto it to build a solid foundation without creating “crunchy” solutions.
- Ability to extract missing requirements from stakeholders, spot and resolve requirements inconsistencies.
- Capable of moving projects forward independently, populate your own backlog
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Advanced or fluent level of English.
