About Insify

We are a start-up offering an end-to-end digital insurance platform focussing solely on European entrepreneurs and SMEs. We offer the best insurance to our customers thanks to our focus on user experience, our leading underwriting services, and our expertise in data. In short, we’ve made getting insured quick, transparent and simple.

We know how to innovate - our team of seasoned entrepreneurs has built a host of successful businesses in fintech and e-commerce (HelloFresh, Bloomon and SumUp to name a few!).

We’ve already raised over €25M in funding from leading investors (Accel Ventures, Frontline Ventures, Visionaries Club, Nico Rosberg, etc.), who love what we do and see the potential for a revolution in digital insurance.

We started our journey in the Netherlands and with our mission to make business insurance fast, simple and fair we have been able to have a significant impact on that market. Since last year we also serve customers in France and Germany, and are rapidly expanding across the rest of Europe!

How we work

At Insify, our culture is built on four core values: grit, impact, care, and entrepreneurship. We embody grit by facing challenges head-on and persisting where others might fail. Our unwavering belief in our mission drives us to overcome obstacles and ensure our customers are always well-covered.

We are dedicated to making a positive impact in our customers' lives, earning their trust every day. Our commitment to care ensures that we prioritize our customers' needs and well-being in everything we do.

Entrepreneurship fuels our innovation—we challenge industry norms, move quickly, and embrace new ideas without fear of failure. We think bigger and aim higher, achieving more than anyone else in the process.

After careful consideration and extensive discussions, we made the decision to adopt a pro-office approach. We understand this may not be for everyone, but we are committed to creating a strong community and moving quickly to innovate and serve our customers better.

As an employee, you will find that collaboration and innovation flourish in our workspace, where spontaneous interactions and casual conversations often spark creative breakthroughs. These "water cooler" moments and impromptu brainstorming sessions are integral to our dynamic culture, allowing for quick feedback and efficient problem-solving.

Joining Insify means becoming part of a community where shared experiences, from team lunches to collaborative meetings, foster a sense of belonging that is difficult to replicate in a virtual setting. For new hires, the office environment is especially crucial; you will benefit from observing and learning directly from your colleagues, accelerating your onboarding and integration into our team.

If you're ready to join a team that embodies grit, makes a meaningful impact, cares deeply for our customers, and embraces an entrepreneurial spirit, we invite you to apply and become part of our innovative journey at Insify.

What you will be doing

As a key member of our Finance team, you’ll dive right into the heart of our business operations and collaborate across departments to help keep everything running smoothly. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our financial processes are not just working—but working brilliantly. Here’s a taste of what you’ll be up to:

  • Keep a close eye on accounts receivable and analyze outstanding invoices and payment delays.
  • Take full ownership of the collections process for overdue invoices across three different countries—yes, this one’s all yours!
  • Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any billing hiccups.
  • Compile, reconcile, and deliver clear financial reporting for both internal teams and external partners.
  • Spot opportunities for smarter, faster processes—and help us bring those improvements to life through automation and innovation.

What you'll need

  • You’re currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Numbers and structure are your happy place—you’ve got strong analytical skills and love making sense of spreadsheets.
  • You’re eager to deepen your finance knowledge and explore the world of process automation.
  • You enjoy solving problems with others and know how to communicate clearly, while also being comfortable working independently.
  • You’re fluent in English, both written and spoken – able to communicate confidently in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • You’re confident using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables don’t scare you).
  • You’re available for at least 24 hours per week and are excited to make a real impact during that time.

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation - we want to attract and retain the best so we are offering a compensation package that aligns with that.
  • Pension plan - participation to Insify’s Pension Plan, with 6% employer contribution.
  • Travel reimbursement - we help travelers with their commute.
  • Hybrid - Possibility to work from home two times a week.
  • 25 holidays days per year - (+ extra day on Christmas Eve if it’s a weekday!)
  • Subscription to Alleo - 50 EUR (net) monthly (cumulable) budget to spend on what you like - anything from gym memberships to UberEats!
  • Company events - Monthly team drinks, quarterly offsites, lunch and learns, parties, merch and FUN!
  • Company laptop - get the best laptop to get your job done in no time!
  • Quickly develop your career - there’s no better place to develop. We are growing, and you can grow with us! In-house leadership programs and coaching.
  • High degree of autonomy - it’s time to ACTUALLY make an impact!
