Operations Project Lead
OPERATIONS PROJECT LEAD
Operations | Semiconductor Metrology | Tainan (preferred), Taiwan
Salary: NT$1.9M to NT$2.1M
Mandarin & English speaking
Own the operational relationship that keeps the world's most advanced semiconductor fabs running.
At Infinitesima, we're transforming semiconductor metrology through breakthrough Atomic Force Microscopy technology. Our systems are deployed with some of the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers, helping them solve the industry's most complex measurement challenges.
As our installed base grows fast, we're looking for an Operations Project Lead to own the day-to-day operational relationship with our OEM partner and their local representative in Taiwan.
This is not a traditional coordination role.
You'll be the person connecting Infinitesima's Service, Manufacturing and Engineering teams directly with their counterparts at our OEM partner, so uptime and customer satisfaction never depend on a message getting lost between two organisations.
If you've delivered customer commitments through a third party before, thrive on holding a delivery line under pressure, and want a role that will grow into installation coordination as we scale, we'd love to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You'll own the operational relationship with our OEM partner and representative across a growing installed base in Taiwan.
- Owning the day-to-day operational relationship with the OEM partner and the representative, so manufacturing, repair and routine system-check activity at the end customer runs to plan.
- Making sure the partner receives what they need from Infinitesima (procedures, documentation, parts information, schedules, decisions and escalation routes) early enough to act on.
- Tracking system uptime and open service issues across the supported installed base, driving each to closure and keeping customers and internal stakeholders informed.
- Coordinating across Service, Manufacturing/Supply Chain and Engineering so parts, tooling and technical support reach the partner when committed.
- Managing non-engineering delivery risks, such as shipment, logistics, site access and scheduling, whilst escalating early wherever uptime or a committed date is at risk.
- Acting as a balance-keeper across competing internal priorities, holding the line between speed and quality.
- Working towards direct department-to-department links between the partner and their Infinitesima counterparts.
- Acting as the operational point of contact for assigned accounts, working alongside the Key Account Manager and Technical Sales Director who own the commercial relationship.
- Building reporting on partner performance, service response and uptime, feeding lessons learned back into Infinitesima's procedures and partner enablement.
- Taking on coordination of new system installations as the installed base grows.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're interested in people who combine strong operational delivery with enough technical understanding to challenge assumptions and unblock issues without direct authority. We're also looking for:
- Proven operational coordination, service management or project management experience in a customer-facing technical environment, ideally capital equipment or technical hardware.
- Experience delivering customer commitments through a third party, such as an OEM partner, distributor or service representative.
- Working understanding of field service activity (e.g. upgrades, repair, preventive checks) and what drives equipment uptime.
- Experience coordinating across engineering, service and supply-chain functions to hit committed dates.
- Strong schedule, risk and dependency management, with the ability to flag risks and act early.
- Excellent stakeholder management with demanding customers; able to hold a delivery line credibly.
- Confidence operating across time zones and cultures on international programmes.
- Fluent Mandarin and Advanced English.
NICE TO HAVE
- Semiconductor, metrology or high-precision manufacturing equipment experience.
- Prior experience managing or onboarding an OEM service partner, distributor or channel partner.
- Familiarity with installation or upgrade programmes for complex capital equipment.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification.
- Additional language ability, helpful for international partner relationships.
