The Consulting Partner works alongside sales directors to deepen accounts and open new relationships inside them. You bring commercial judgement and delivery credibility: you know what good looks like on the ground, so you can see where the next engagement is and shape it into a proposal the client wants to sign.
You'll support a portfolio of flagship accounts, partnering with sales executives and delivery leads rather than replacing either.

What you'll do

Work with sales executives to find and qualify expansion opportunities, particularly from live delivery
Step into senior client conversations where your experience adds weight, then hand back cleanly
Lead proposal writing and SOW negotiation on larger or more complex deals, holding the line on scope and margin
Keep a close eye on delivery at sprint level, without crowding delivery leads, and step in when a stakeholder or timeline wobbles
Turn delivery outcomes into case studies and the next conversation
Bring in partners (Databricks, Anthropic, AWS) where they strengthen an account
Contribute to the practice through pipeline, hiring and coaching sales executives

What you bring

Multiple years in financial services technology and data, ideally with London
A record of growing an account from a small first engagement into a multi-SOW programme
Commercial confidence: you can price, negotiate and say no
Enough technical grounding in data platforms and enterprise AI to challenge estimates and read delivery risk
The judgement to read resistance and stakeholder sensitivities early, and to work through someone else's relationship without bruising it
Experience leading teams and developing talent
