Workplace Services Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated Workplace Services Engineer to join our team on-site in Gdańsk, Poland.

This is a mission-critical, technical ownership role where you will be the primary 'go-to' technical expert for our IT systems and employee-facing infrastructure across our offices in Warsaw, Gdańsk, and Prague. You won't just be reacting to tickets; you'll be actively driving the stability, security, and scalability of our workplace technology. You will dedicate a significant portion of your time to proactive engineering, systems optimization, and contributing to strategic infrastructure projects.

What will you be doing

• Infrastructure Management & Optimization: Serve as the technical owner for office infrastructure across Gdańsk, Warsaw, and Prague, including networking, security, and office IT equipment.
• System Engineering & Automation: Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline IT processes such as onboarding/offboarding and device management.
• Technical Troubleshooting & Escalation: Act as a key point of contact for technical issues across Windows and macOS environments, VPNs, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and collaboration tools.
• Cross-Office Mobility: Be willing to travel to our offices in Warsaw and Prague to perform hands-on maintenance, new setup deployments, and provide on-site support when necessary.
• IT Ecosystem Administration: Administer and optimize our core corporate IT stack, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), and MDM solutions such as JumpCloud or similar.
• Vendor and Asset Management: Manage IT vendor relationships, procurement, software licensing, and hardware asset inventory.

What would help you succeed in this role 

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, workplace engineering, IT operations, systems administration, or a similar hands-on role.
• Strong expertise managing Windows and macOS environments.
• Practical experience with office networking, including VPNs, firewalls, Wi-Fi, switches, and printers.
• Experience setting up and supporting workplace and meeting room technologies such as Google Meet, Cisco Webex, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with MDM solutions such as JumpCloud or similar device management tools.
• Practical experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365, as well as collaboration tools such as Slack and Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, ServiceDesk).
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), including user access, SSO, onboarding/offboarding, and related integrations.
• Experience with vendor management, hardware procurement, license management, and IT asset management.
• Experience supporting or improving employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including device and access setup.
• Familiarity with automation, scripting, or workflow tools to streamline IT operations; hands-on experience with Python, PowerShell, Zapier, or similar tools is a strong advantage.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently across different areas of Workplace IT.
• Strong communication skills in Polish and English.
