Workplace Services Lead

Tallinn, Harju, Estonia

Inbank is a financial technology company with an EU banking license that connects merchants, consumers, and financial institutions on its next-generation embedded finance platform. Our financing solutions are seamlessly embedded into the shopping journeys of 6,000+ retailers, helping merchants grow their businesses while enabling customers to enjoy a frictionless shopping experience. Today, 440+ people work at Inbank across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and the Czech Republic, building innovative financial solutions for the future of commerce.

At Inbank, our people are our greatest asset - and the technology they rely on every day must be seamless, scalable, and secure by design.

As we continue our ambitious growth and commitment to operational excellence, we are evolving our internal IT function. We are looking for a Workplace Services Lead to take ownership of our internal IT operations and lead a team of 8. In this role, you will drive a shift toward a proactive, service-driven model focused on identity ownership, user experience, and operational resilience.

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how our teams work across the organization. You will collaborate closely with our Security, Infrastructure, Product & Engineering, and HR teams to ensure robust operational security, compliance, and lifecycle management across workplace devices, SaaS platforms, and user identities.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Lead and grow the team: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 8 while setting clear priorities and driving high service standards. Own the internal IT budget and ensure smart, value-driven investments.
  • Own and evolve IAM: Lead and scale our identity and access management setup, covering SSO, SAML, SCIM, OAuth, LDAP, and APIs. Implement strong access controls, including PAM, least-privilege principles, and regular access reviews.
  • Strengthen security and compliance: Work closely with Security and Infrastructure teams to implement strong controls, including DLP, and ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Manage incidents and reduce risk: Lead structured incident management, focusing on root cause analysis, recovery, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay hands-on with technical operations: Support complex issues by analyzing logs and data, making backend fixes, and assisting with releases. Act as a bridge between IT, Product, and Engineering.
  • Drive automation and scalability: Identify and implement automation opportunities - from scripting to AI-driven workflows - to improve efficiency and future-proof internal IT.
  • Oversee workplace technology across locations: Manage devices, office networks, and workplace tech across multiple countries, ensuring everything is secure, compliant, and runs smoothly.
  • Optimize SaaS and vendors: Take ownership of our SaaS ecosystem - reduce waste, manage renewals, and ensure vendors meet performance expectations.
  • Create a seamless employee experience: Partner with HR to ensure employees are fully equipped from day one - devices ready, access in place. Own the full identity lifecycle (joiner, mover, leaver).

Ideally, you would have:

  • IT leadership experience: 5+ years in Internal IT, Workplace Engineering, or Service Management, including team leadership & budget ownership.
  • IAM expertise: Strong hands-on experience with identity providers, SSO, SAML, SCIM, OAuth, LDAP, provisioning, and access controls.
  • Security mindset: Knowledge of endpoint security, MDM, DLP, and relevant compliance standards.
  • AI & Automation awareness: Familiarity with AI tools and workflow automation in a corporate environment.
  • SaaS know-how: Experience managing platforms like Google Workspace, Atlassian, and Slack.
  • Commercial thinking: Experience with vendor management, license optimization, and IT procurement.
  • Problem-solving skills: Structured, scalable approach to incidents, risk, and operational challenges.
  • Strong collaboration skills: Clear communicator, comfortable working across teams; regulated industry experience is a plus.

Why you’ll enjoy working here?

  • The chance to shape and modernize the internal tech environment of a growing fintech, with real ownership and impact.
  • A competitive salary tailored to your experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Wellbeing support through sports compensation or additional health insurance to help you stay active and healthy.
  • Extra vacation days after your third year, giving you more time to rest and recharge.
  • A 6-week paid sabbatical after four years, recognising strong performance and long-term contribution.
  • A dynamic and inspiring work environment where you’re encouraged to grow and take ownership of your work.
  • Flexibility through a hybrid and autonomous way of working, built on trust and accountability.
  • The opportunity to collaborate with talented international colleagues across multiple markets.
  • Regular team events and additional perks that make work more enjoyable and help celebrate successes together.
