LON - 2026 - Senior Manager Compensation

IMC is seeking a Senior Compensation Manager to join our global Compensation team and play a key role in supporting the firm’s continued growth across Europe. Reporting to the Head of Compensation, this role will have regional responsibility for compensation across Europe and will lead critical initiatives spanning job architecture, pay structures, benchmarking, and annual compensation processes. The role will sit within a global team and will be responsible for global strategic projects and processes.

As a strategic partner, you will collaborate with business leaders, HR, and cross-functional teams to design and deliver compensation programs that are market-competitive, internally equitable, and aligned with IMC’s global rewards philosophy and local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead core workstreams in the annual compensation cycle (e.g., merit, bonus, promotions), providing guidance and support to compensation planners across Europe
  • Own and maintain job architecture, leveling frameworks, and salary structures, ensuring alignment with market data and internal equity
  • Conduct and lead pay equity analyses, ensuring fair and consistent pay practices across the region and driving remediation where needed
  • Establish and reinforce governance frameworks for compensation decisions, partnering with Legal and HR to ensure compliance with European regulations and evolving pay transparency requirements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and business leaders, translating compensation data into clear insights and recommendations to inform decision-making
  • Build and deliver data-driven insights, reporting, and dashboards to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the European workforce
  • Partner closely with HR, Finance, and HRIS (Workday) teams to enhance compensation processes, tools, and analytics
  • Lead benchmarking analyses and survey participation to ensure competitive market positioning across multiple European markets
  • Drive communication and change management efforts related to compensation programs, including developing guidance and training materials for HR and business stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve compensation processes, tools, and stakeholder experience

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation or total rewards
  • Strong expertise in job evaluation, job architecture, and salary structure design and management
  • Demonstrated experience conducting pay equity analyses and supporting compensation governance and compliance frameworks
  • Experience managing compensation across multiple European countries, with understanding of regional regulations and market practices
  • Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience building dashboards or visualisations is a plus
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear, actionable insights for business leaders
  • Experience partnering with HR, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Proven ability to lead change, improve processes, and enhance how compensation programs are delivered and understood
  • Experience with Workday Compensation and/or other compensation tools (e.g., PayFactors, Salary.com)
