At IMC, this role functions as a trusted commercial and operational partner to the trading business. • Rapidly learn and assess new asset classes, trading workflows, and counterparty requirements
  • Lead commercial negotiations covering brokerage, clearing, connectivity, incentives, and service expectations
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with counterparties regarding pricing, service quality, and operational performance
  • Coordinate across Trading, Technology, Operations, and Compliance to onboard new counterparties
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding execution, from documentation and connectivity through go-live
  • Monitor post-launch performance to ensure relationships deliver intended commercial and operational value
  • Track market-structure developments, counterparty trends, and operational innovations impacting trading
  • Identify opportunities where improved brokerage or clearing setups can unlock trading efficiencies or new strategies
  • Collaborate with global IMC teams when counterparties operate across multiple regions
  • Exercise sound judgment when balancing commercial opportunity, operational complexity, and risk
  • Take personal ownership for delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-moving trading environment
  • Iterate on prior setups and relationships to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 - 8+ years of experience in trading business development, brokerage management, clearing relationships, or similar roles tied to trading infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of brokerage flows, clearing processes, and trading-venue connectivity preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with trading, technology, and operations teams
  • Strong commercial instincts with the ability to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable plans
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills across senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate commercial, operational, and technical trade-offs
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy in a fast-paced trading environment
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and drive execution
  • Strong judgment, pragmatism, and attention to detail
