
Corporate Development Manager
IMC is seeking a Corporate Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our strategic expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of one of IMC’s key markets, Taiwan - with scope to grow further and contribute to broader regional growth initiatives as our presence continues to evolve.
As part of the Corporate Development team, you will work at the intersection of trading, technology and cross-functional collaboration. You will partner closely with key stakeholders across all major departments to deliver impactful business outcomes. Your work will directly influence IMC’s strategic direction, supporting the firm’s continued growth and innovation in global markets.

Your Core Responsibilities:
Business alignment/Communication
- Collaborate and partner closely with trading, technology, compliance, and other internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution.
- Keep key stakeholders informed and engaged, securing buy-in and cross-departmental support throughout project implementation.
- Report directly to the Corporate Development Director – Hong Kong & Taiwan, providing regular updates on progress and key initiatives.
Project Management
- Lead and oversee the execution of approved business development and business improvement initiatives, including implementation of new markets, platforms, and asset classes.
- Exercise sound commercial judgment in evaluating, prioritizing, and executing new opportunities, supported by thorough business and financial analysis.
- Ensure projects adhere to IMC’s high standards of governance and compliance.
- Track and manage all business development requests directed to external partners, ensuring effective resolution and advocacy.
EXTERNAL RELATIONS
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, exchanges, brokers, clearers, banks, technology vendors, legal advisors, and accountants across the Asia-Pacific region.
- Represent IMC at regional conferences, industry events, and stakeholder meetings to strengthen IMC’s reputation and market presence.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT and ANALYSIS
- Identify and assess new trends, markets, asset classes, and opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region to support IMC’s strategic objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive business plans, reports, and recommendations for new business initiatives.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to gather insights and identify value-adding opportunities.
- Facilitate the development of innovative business practices and operational improvements to support rapid and sustainable growth.
- Proactively make business recommendations based on emerging information, regulatory developments, and market dynamics.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with strong academic results in Business, Economics, Banking, or Finance.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in a multinational corporate environment; experience in the trading industry or at an exchange is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of a wide range of financial products, particularly equities and equity derivatives.
- Proven ability to independently lead projects from inception through to successful completion.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse teams and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and curious mindset, coupled with strong strategic judgment and a drive to deliver results.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin required.
