
Trading Compliance Officer
The Compliance Team works in close partnership with our Trading and Technology teams and reports to the Head of Compliance. Our primary objective is to ensure that IMC meets its obligations under both internal policies and external regulatory requirements. We believe that a strong compliance culture is built not only on adherence to rules, but on a deep understanding of the regulatory context as well as knowledge of financial markets and the technology empowering our trading. By fostering this mindset, we aim to embed compliance as an enabler of responsible and effective decision-making across the firm.

We are seeking a critical thinker with a proactive, hands-on mindset who is eager to work with both proprietary and third-party systems, as well as a broad range of data sources. This is a dynamic position in a fast-paced environment, offering significant interaction with both Trading and Technology teams. Your Core Responsibilities:
You will be involved in Trading Compliance tasks which may include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring and analyzing daily trading activity to identify potentially undesirable patterns and ensuring appropriate follow-up with trading desks.
- Providing advisory support to the trading business on all Trading Compliance matters.
- Managing relationships with both internal stakeholders and external parties.
- Reviewing and approving updates to IMC’s trading systems and infrastructure.
- Enhancing and developing IMC’s surveillance framework to maintain best-in-class standards.
- Liaising directly with exchanges to support and maintain IMC’s trading objectives.
- Using IMC’s Compliance Management System to manage conflicts of interest, including personal account dealing oversight.
- Collaborating closely with Technology teams to develop and maintain Compliance systems and dashboards.
Your Skills and Experience:
- University degree / University of Applied Science degree
- Up to 3 years of experience in financial markets
- Strong interest in trading and technology
- Knowledge of financial markets and derivative products (futures, options)
- Experience with trading surveillance
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills
- Structured and concise in communication
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Experience with programming languages (eg SQL, python) is a plus
- Experience with Energy and FX products is a plus
