Multimedia Content Specialist

Reports to: Director of Corporate Communications
Job purpose: The Multimedia Content Specialist is responsible to produce high-quality multimedia content for our organisation. This role involves recording and editing podcasts and videos that will be published on our website and other channels, as well as creating animations to bring to life complex topics.
The Multimedia Content Specialist will provide services to internal stakeholders and maintain consistent quality across all productions. This position requires someone who can bring new ideas, implement best practices across different platforms and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The role also requires flexibility to work outside of normal office hours to manage time-sensitive video and audio production to ensure rapid turnaround.
Finally, the role includes the need to identify and manage freelance resources to provide additional capacity or capability during peak times or to complement the AV Editor’s own skills.
Principal accountabilities
- Collaborate with internal clients (comms directors supporting the Foundation, the IASB, the ISSB and Funding functions) to understand needs and to provide solutions.
- Meet demand through developing production schedules, managing own time, and provide solutions by developing a roster of freelance video and audio technicians who can manage demand and skills that exceed in-house resources.
- Design, record, edit and produce high-quality audio and video content such as podcasts, videos and technical webcasts.
- Provide solutions for animations that bring to life complex subjects.
- Ensure all Multimedia content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains consistent quality across platforms.
- Optimise content for multiple distribution channels (website, LinkedIn, YouTube and podcast platforms).
- Plan and manage resources for AV work, including equipment needs, software requirements and scheduling.
- Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility in working hours to accommodate the time-sensitive editing and posting of AV content in support of board meetings.
- Maintain organised digital assets, project files and content archives.
Qualifications and experience:
- Solid experience in audio visual editing and production.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software.
- A showing range of multimedia content creation.
- Experience optimising content for various platforms.
- Technical knowledge of recording equipment, lighting, and sound.
- Strong project management and organisation abilities.
Skills:
- An internal service culture, focused on meeting or exceeding expectations of internal clients (comms directors).
- Strong ability to tell stories through videos and podcast.
- Understanding of brand principles.
- Self-directed.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to manage simultaneously a high volume of projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Track record of advising on content and best practices.
- Sets high quality standards for themselves.
- Creativity and enthusiasm.
