This position is based in Rennes

The Regional VP Sales Southern Europe will report directly to the CCO and oversee all sales activities in the Southern European market, with a particular focus on existing customers. This role is crucial for driving growth and maintaining strong client relationships in France. The Regional VP Sales Southern Europe will lead a team of Account Managers and Partner Sales Managers, ensuring that sales strategies are aligned with the company's overall objectives. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities section outlines the primary tasks and duties of the Regional VP Sales Southern Europe. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and client relationship management. 
  • Design, build and execute sales strategies tailored to the French market to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. 
  • Lead and manage a team of Account Managers and Partner Sales Managers, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure sales targets are met. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. 
  • Drive sales growth through successful leadership, organizational planning, customer service, and outstanding execution of all regional go-to-market programs (sales, customer success, solutions engineering, business development, support and field marketing).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement and product development. 
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in the French market. 
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies, maintaining high ethical standards in all sales activities. 
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the CCO on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives in France. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and excellence within the sales team. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, acting as a brand ambassador and thought leader in the field of identity verification. 

 

Preferred Experience

  • Degree educated with a minimum of 10 years senior and multi-level sales leadership proven experience in sales management for the region, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets. 
  • Track record in hiring and managing a team of sellers.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing sales team. 
  • Deep understanding of the French market and understanding of the Spanish, Italian and BeNeLux markets preferred, including local business practices, cultural nuances, and regulatory environment. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. 
  • Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth. 
  • Deep experience with CRM systems, RevOps, and forecasting tools (such as Salesforce) and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC). 
  • Fluent in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience working in an international company, comfortable with cross-cultural collaboration and communication. 
  • Autonomous and self-motivated, with a high degree of personal accountability and a goal-oriented mindset. 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, maintaining a calm and focused approach under pressure.
