Job Summary:
ICG Medical is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to support and maintain our Salesforce platform, with a primary focus on resolving maintenance tickets and delivering new implementations defined by the Business Systems Analyst (BSA).
This role is execution-focused. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for translating approved requirements into well‑configured, reliable Salesforce solutions, while ensuring the platform remains stable, secure, and fit for purpose. The role does not own requirements gathering but works closely with the BSA to deliver changes efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Salesforce administrator for day-to-day platform maintenance
- Work through maintenance and enhancement tickets raised and prioritised by the BSA
- Implement new Salesforce functionality based on clearly defined requirements and solution designs
- Configure and maintain Salesforce features, including objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows, and automations
- Support minor enhancements and bug fixes across recruitment, sales, and compliance workflows
- Ensure all changes are tested in sandbox environments before controlled deployment to production
- Maintain platform stability by proactively identifying issues, performance risks, or configuration gaps
- Manage user administration, including access, permissions, profiles, and roles
- Build and maintain operational reports and dashboards as requested
- Document changes, configurations, and deployment steps for auditability and knowledge sharing
- Support integrations and data sync processes where required
- Provide user support and troubleshooting within agreed support processes
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a production environment
- Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce configuration and declarative tools
- Experience working from tickets, backlogs, or change queues
- Comfortable implementing solutions from documented requirements rather than defining them
- Solid understanding of data quality, validation, and reporting
- Structured approach to testing, releases, and change control
- Experience working alongside a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
Desirable Experience
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Experience working in an environment with formal ticketing or change management processes
