Job Summary:
The OOH Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing a team within the organization to ensure the achievement of both individual and collective goals. They guide and support team members, track performance metrics, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The OOH Team Leader plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of service delivery, optimizing business processes, and driving continuous improvement within the team.
Additionally, the OOH Team Leader is instrumental in fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. They provide regular coaching and feedback, identify training needs, and implement development plans to enhance team skills and morale. By facilitating open communication and addressing any issues promptly, the OOH Team Leader ensures that team members are motivated, engaged, and aligned with the organization’s objectives. They also act as a liaison between the team and upper management, representing team interests, and ensuring that team feedback is incorporated into strategic decision-making. Through effective leadership and proactive problem-solving, the Team Leader contributes to achieving the organization’s goals and enhancing overall team performance.
Responsibilities:
Daily Team Meetings:
- Conduct daily stand-ups or team meetings to discuss booking goals, address challenges, and ensure alignment on daily tasks.
- Provide clear communication of priorities and distribute tasks accordingly.
- Encourage open dialogue and foster a collaborative team environment.
Target Management:
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly targets are set, communicated, and achieved by the team.
- Monitor progress toward targets and implement corrective actions if needed to stay on track.
- Recognize and celebrate team achievements.
Performance Reporting:
- Prepare and present weekly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and statistics to management.
- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting for informed decision-making.
One-to-One Meetings:
- Conduct weekly one-to-one meetings with team members to provide feedback, discuss performance, and offer support.
- Address any concerns or obstacles faced by team members.
- Set individual goals and monitor progress.
Performance Development Plans:
- Develop and implement monthly performance development plans for team members.
- Identify training and development needs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
Management of the booking Portfolios :
- Maintain the current Nursing, Midwifery and ODP portfolios for the wider team by being a hands on booker, problem solver and fast thinking out of hours. Ensuring every candidate is serviced correctly and placed out to work weekly.
- They need to ensure they and their team are:
- Calling every candidate weekly to gain availability and build rapport, recording all notes on salesforce
- Calling all clients weekly to SPEQ available candidates out to work, recording all notes on salesforce especially at key times like early morning to capture last minute canceltions.
- Resolving in a timely manner any payroll queries or issues for their and their teams candidates, recording all notes on salesforce
- Resolving in a timely manner any invoice queries or issues for their and their teams clients, recording all notes on salesforce
- Ensuring at all times they and their team maintain high levels of customer service for their candidates and client
- Always leading the team by example
Team Collaboration:
- Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the department.
- Facilitate effective communication and information sharing among team members.
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration to achieve shared goals.
Temporary Placement Management:
- Maintain and increase the fill rate on all temporary placements by ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Monitor placement performance and address any issues promptly.
Business Process Oversight:
- Follow and oversee departmental business processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity.
- Ensure all team activities align with the organization's policies and standards.
Qualifications:
Previous Experience Managing a Team:
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team, with the ability to motivate and develop team members to achieve their full potential
Experience within Healthcare (Preferred):
- Ideally, previous experience working within the healthcare industry, with an understanding of its unique challenges and demands
Achievement of KPI and Sales Targets:
- Demonstrated ability to consistently hit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sales targets, particularly in areas such as Contractor Margin and other relevant metrics
Experience in Sales Environments:
- Solid experience working in sales-driven environments, with a focus on achieving revenue goals and driving business growth
Outbound Sales Experience:
- Hands-on experience with outbound sales, including cold calling, lead generation, and closing deals
Strategy and Planning Expertise:
- Strong experience in strategy development and execution, with the ability to create and implement effective sales and recruitment plans
Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail:
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Leadership by Example:
- A leadership style that exemplifies professionalism, dedication, and a strong work ethic, setting the standard for team members to follow
Recruitment Experience ( Preferred)
- Practical experience in recruitment, with a solid understanding of the recruitment process, candidate sourcing, and placement strategies
Money Motivated:
- A strong drive to achieve financial goals and incentives, with a focus on maximizing profitability and achieving business objectives
