Recruitment Context
As iBanFirst continues to scale — €80M in revenue, 30% YoY growth, profitable — we are strengthening our Finance function to match the ambition of the business. We are looking for an FP&A Manager to join Arnaud De la Porte (CFO & Deputy CEO) following the departure of the current FP&A Manager.
You will inherit a solid foundation and take it further — raising the bar on financial analysis, forecasting quality, and the Finance team's ability to be a true business partner across the organisation.
Manager & Team
You will report directly to Arnaud De la Porte, CFO & Deputy CEO of iBanFirst.
You will manage two FP&A Analysts (1 junior and 1 senior).
You will work in close collaboration with the broader Finance team across Paris, Brussels, and London (Controlling, Accounting, Treasury), as well as cross-functional business partners (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Tech).
What will you do?
As FP&A Manager, you will be the financial intelligence engine of iBanFirst — ensuring the business has the right data, models, and insights to make confident decisions at speed.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Own the monthly and quarterly financial closing and reporting process, delivering clear and actionable P&L analysis to the CFO and senior leadership
- Build and maintain executive-level dashboards and reports, ensuring leadership has real-time visibility on performance
- Present financial results and key insights to senior management and the Board
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budget process and rolling forecasts across the group
- Develop and maintain robust financial models (multi-scenario, multi-country) to support strategic planning
- Track actuals vs. budget and provide meaningful variance analysis with clear commentary
Business Partnering & Strategic Analysis
- Act as a trusted financial partner to commercial and operational teams — translating numbers into business insights
- Support go-to-market decisions, new market entries, product economics, and investment cases with rigorous financial analysis
Relation with stakeholders
- Prepare quarterly Board and investor materials, building a rigorous and compelling performance storyline
- Support fundraising processes end-to-end, from due diligence preparation to data room management
- Contribute to M&A and strategic transaction analysis: reviewing targets, challenging figures and supporting Q&A
Process Improvement & Automation
- Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and reporting infrastructure
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline recurring financial tasks, including through AI tools
- Ensure consistency and integrity of financial data across systems
Team Management
- Coach, develop, and support the FP&A Analysts in their day-to-day work and professional growth
Role Objectives
First 3 months:
- Get fully up to speed with iBanFirst's financial model, P&L structure, and existing reporting
- Deliver your first budget cycle or quarterly close with full ownership
- Build strong relationships with Arnaud and key business stakeholder
- Develop a sharp, critical view of the existing FP&A setup — processes, tools, reporting quality — and identify concrete areas for improvement
First 6 months:
- Elevate the quality and speed of FP&A reporting
- Deliver a refreshed forecasting model and scenario framework
- Be recognised as a credible financial partner by business teams
- Start challenging the status quo: what should we do differently? What's missing? What's not good enough? Begin translating these observations into actionable recommendations
First 12 months:
- Own the full FP&A agenda with high autonomy
- Have a measurable impact on the quality of financial decisions across the group
- Contribute to at least one strategic or transactional initiative
What do you bring?
Experience

- Track record of building and owning complex financial models under pressure
- Experience in a scale-up, fintech, or B2B SaaS environment is a strong plus
Must-have skills
- Financial modelling excellence — you build robust, decision-grade models from scratch and know how to make them tell a story
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets — you are genuinely fast and precise
- Analytical rigour — you don't just report numbers; you explain them, challenge them, and turn them into recommendations
- Business partnering mindset — you are as comfortable in a room with the CFO as with a Country Manager, and you build trust through expertise and clarity
