Job description

As an SDR/Junior Sales Representative, you play a crucial role as the primary point of contact for our customers. Your focus is on empowering them to regain control over their payment processes and providing deep insights into the FX market. Through your expertise in currencies, rates, hedging strategies, and efficient implementation practices, you mitigate risks and foster trust with our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner for customers, understanding their needs and translating our solutions into tailored recommendations.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire sales process from lead generation and prospecting to deal closure and onboarding, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Market Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of the FX market, build a robust network, and utilise this knowledge to help clients achieve their strategic goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture client relationships through proactive communication, leveraging CRM tools to track interactions and update pertinent information.
  • AML/CFT: Consistently adhere to and apply all iBanFirst internal policies, including, but not limited to, policies relating to Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT), identification and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) rules and requirements, sanctions obligations, the Code of Ethics, and the Conflict of Interest policy.
  • Inform clients about the required documentation for opening and using iBanFirst payment services, and ensure the submission of complete, reliable, valid and up-to-date documentation to the onboarding team.
  • Assist clients with uploading and managing their documents within iBanFirst’s internal systems, in compliance with security and confidentiality standards.
  • Contribute to the due diligence process by providing complete, reliable, valid and up-to-date information regarding clients and transactions, upon request from the teams responsible for onboarding, periodic review, or transaction monitoring.
  • Immediately report to the AML Compliance Officer any suspicions or inconsistencies identified in client documentation.
  • Participate in and complete all periodic Compliance training sessions organised by iBanFirst.

Requirements:

  • Financial and FX Market Acumen: Strong affinity with the financial sector and a solid grasp of the FX market dynamics..
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with expertise in business and strong analytical abilities.
