Team Manager - Institutional clients Luxembourg
iBanFirst is hiring a dynamic, results-driven, and highly motivated Team Manager Institutional Clients to support and grow our expansion into Luxembourg. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing fintech scale-up and take ownership of daily operations, client onboarding, and commercial execution in one of Europe’s most important financial hubs.
We are looking for a hands-on professional with 6–8 years of experience in financial services, fund administration, or fintech, who thrives in fast-paced environments and is ready to combine operational leadership with direct client acquisition contribution. What will you do:
Market Execution & Operations
- Drive the execution of iBanFirst’s go-to-market strategy in Luxembourg.
- Lead and continuously improve client onboarding, support, and account management processes for institutional clients.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations with local sales representatives, compliance & global back-office teams.
Client Management & Business Growth
- Lead business development by actively contributing to institutional client acquisition and relationship management.
- Be the face in market, representing the company in media & industry events.
- Ensure a high standard of client service and smooth delivery of solutions.
Team Contribution & Leadership
- Act as a player-coach: contribute directly to client work while also coaching and supporting junior team members.
- Build a culture of energy, accountability, and problem-solving.
- Work closely with the Regional Sales Director and other country teams to align efforts across Europe.
Market & Partnerships
- Develop working relationships with fund administrators, corporate service providers, and institutional clients.
- Identify opportunities for operational partnerships that can accelerate growth.
- Stay on top of market trends and regulatory developments.
What do you bring:
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in financial services, fintech, FX, or fund/corporate services.
- Some experience working with alternative investment funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate funds, or securitization vehicles.
- Network within the Luxembourg financial ecosystem, preferrable with corporate service providers such as Vistra, IQ-EQ, Intertrust and / or family offices.
- Hands-on track record in operations management, client onboarding, or institutional account management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with institutional clients.
- High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to balance strategy with execution.
- Experience working in scale-up or fast-growing environments is a plus.
- Fluency in English and French; German is an advantage.
- Based in Luxembourg or willing to relocate.
