HSPG: A social impact real estate company

Our mission is simple: Building partnerships, creating homes, developing communities.

There is a critical lack of affordable housing across the UK, affecting the most vulnerable people in our community.

We build long-term partnerships with Local Authorities to acquire and manage demand-driven social and affordable housing across various tenures, as per the image below.

Across HSPG’s Living Sector platforms, we are actively acquiring 2,500 high-quality homes from national housebuilders and developers by the end of 2025. These properties are managed by our experienced team, grouped into portfolios, and funded by our institutional investment partners.

HSPG aims to positively impacts our residents’ lives, while providing long-term, sustainable returns for our investment partners. 

Accountability

You are accountable for:

  • Improving workflows, processes and systems across the business.
  • Driving adoption of AI and automation tools.
  • Enhancing team efficiency and output.
  • Supporting teams to operate in a more scalable and effective way

You are not accountable for:

  • Traditional administrative or back-office operations.
  • People or talent-related processes.
  • Financial reporting or ownership.

You identify inefficiencies, friction points and manual work across the business and replace them with smarter, faster and more scalable solutions.

You work across all teams, embedding yourself within functions to understand how they operate, then improving workflows, systems and outputs.

You are hands-on and build solutions yourself, using tools, automation and AI to improve how the business runs.

You are given the freedom to test, build and implement new ways of working, using AI and technology to continuously improve how the business operates.

You don’t wait for permission to improve things. You see something broken or inefficient and you fix it.

This is not a traditional operations role. You are here to challenge how things are done and elevate how we operate.

Specific experience:

  • Experience improving tech-enabled processes, systems or workflows within a business environment.
  • Strong interest in AI, automation and using technology to improve efficiency.
  • Experience using AI tools, automation tools or no-code platforms.
  • This role is not suited to candidates focused purely on administrative operations or traditional back-office support. Your CV must demonstrate significant AI and tech-enabled solutions.
