About the Role
HSO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced D365 Finance & Operations Supply Chain Management (SCM) Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O SCM modules and experience delivering end-to-end implementations, enhancements, and support projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Supply Chain Management processes.
- Configure and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O SCM modules based on business requirements.
- Lead workshops, fit-gap analysis sessions, and solution design discussions with stakeholders.
- Provide functional expertise across SCM modules including:
- Procurement and Sourcing
- Inventory Management
- Warehouse Management
- Product Information Management
- Master Planning
- Sales and Distribution
- Transportation Management (preferred)
- Create functional design documents and collaborate with technical teams for customizations and integrations.
- Support testing activities including unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment.
- Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues.
- Conduct user training sessions and prepare user documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong functional expertise in D365 F&O Supply Chain Management modules.
- Experience in at least 2–3 full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain business processes and best practices.
- Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users and technical teams.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or older versions, including functional configuration, process understanding, and support activities.
- Experience in migration, upgrade, or transformation projects from Dynamics AX 2012 to D365 Finance & Operations will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in global implementation projects.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Power Platform, Azure integrations, and reporting tools is an added advantage.
- Experience in Agile project delivery methodologies.
