About the role

This role will be responsible for the data entry and systems maintenance the accounts payable and cash department. Full responsibility for the in-house filing systems, banks, accounting systems and ensuring, general ledger is well-maintained and all payments are made and recorded properly from the companies side.

Responsibilities:

  • Input all AP payment invoices, record and track all deposits and cash management, while providing overall complete payroll disbursement oversight.
  • Responsible for the inputs of the purchase ledger and management of day-to-day payments across the Group.
  • Ensure timely and efficient processing of authorize AP invoices and cash disbursements including global payroll. Support the manager to priorities payments and track and record daily cash flows.
  • Generate payment and payroll runs from multiple international banking systems. Keep records to reconcile invoices to bank to accounting software.
  • Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete and accurate in accordance with GAAP.
  • Ensure invoices are properly booked in the financial accounting system consistent with internal policy at the right amounts and in the right currencies.
  • Track and report available cash balances to ensure suppliers are paid appropriately.
  • Use accounting system to prepare and post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records agrees with accounting system.
  • Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables and invoices. Prepare timely accurate balance sheet reconciliations for monthly close. Maintain proper supporting files and records.
  • Maintain and organize the accuracy of an organization’ cash and payables records for payment, auditing and tax purposes.
  • Adhere to the companies standard operating procedures for the cash and payables departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, or related field, required.
  • At least 2 years of related experience required.
  • Aptitude for math.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Experience in Excel.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Ability to be communicative and comfortable talking on the phone, via email, or face-to-face.
  • You often described as someone who has high energy and your colleagues love this about you!
  • Success-driven, with a positive can-do attitude and combining commitment with self-initiative.
