Assistant Accountant
Responsibilities
1. Manage employee expense reviews.
2. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
3. Assist with the processing of accounts payable and receivable
4. Enter and verify the accuracy of financial transactions
5. Perform bank reconciliations and other reconciling tasks as needed
6. Maintain accuracy and organized financial records and documents
7. Support the accounting team with various projects and tasks as needed
8. Assist in audit, and any ad hoc assignments
Requirements
1. Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
2. 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (E.g., Excel)
4. Mature, detail oriented, independent and strong sense of initiative.
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills with good command of English
7. A desire to learn and grow within the field of accounting
