Your future contribution:

HomeToGo is looking for a German speaking Team Lead Accounts Receivable (m/f/d). In this role you will report to our Head of Accounting and be responsible for the management of our Accounts Receivable Team and processes. You play a crucial role in achieving the overall goals of the Accounts Receivable Team by managing the team in a goal-oriented and effective manner. Together with your team, you are responsible for billing and receivables management and ensure smooth invoicing as well as securing liquidity by minimizing bad debts. You support the team in successfully implementing projects and operational services.

How you’ll add value:

  • Lead our Accounts Receivable (AR) Team of up to 5 people (technically and disciplinary), comprising the coordination and monitoring of all AR-related activities using a KPI-driven approach
  • Manage actively the collaboration with our external collection agencies and ensuring a minimum allowance for bad debts
  • Analyze, review, improve existing AR-related processes and implement new operational processes and guidelines
  • Serve as a main stakeholder for reporting, invoicing, and payment topics for both internal and external parties (auditors, banks, etc.)
  • Support the Accounting team in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Use the opportunity to expand your skills/knowledge in working with SAP Hana and Salesforce

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

  • Have 5+ years of professional experience in Accounting, relevant professional experience in the areas of billing, collection, or process improvement are an asset
  • Demonstrate relevant leadership experience and the ability to successfully build and develop teams
  • Show strong commitment and willingness to take ownership and initiative for changing processes and implementing solutions
  • Have an advanced time management skills and a strong ability for self-organization
  • Possess strong computer skills, including a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with SAP Hana and/or Salesforce is a plus
  • High proficiency in written and verbal English and German
