Director of Industry Marketing

HiveMQ’s Vision for this role

HiveMQ is seeking a high-energy, creative, and entrepreneurial Director of Industry Marketing to join our team. Based in the US and reporting directly to the CMO, this role requires proven expertise in marketing industrial data infrastructure, smart manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 solutions to enterprise buyers.. You will craft messaging, campaigns, and content that resonates with technical and business stakeholders across the manufacturing, automotive, energy, and transportation sectors. As a dynamic public speaker and subject matter expert, you will represent HiveMQ on webinars, and key industry events and collaborate closely with sales, product marketing, and demand generation to build pipeline and increase market awareness in our highest-priority industries.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate for this job should have most of the following:

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B enterprise infrastructure software marketing or sales
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience leading industry or vertical marketing programs, or prior hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Proven ability to develop value propositions and messaging that resonate with industry-specific personas
  • Demonstrated success building pipeline through industry campaigns and sales enablement
  • Strong understanding of the Industry 4.0  ecosystem -software, hardware, protocols and  services providers
  • Dynamic public speaking and/or social media experience 
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills tailored to technical and executive audiences
  • Scrappy, self-starter mentality; thrives in a high-growth SaaS startup company not dependent on large corporate structures
  • Worked directly in the manufacturing or energy sector in OT or IT environments
  • Experience building vertical playbooks and industry-specific sales tools
  • Prior success marketing infrastructure software or industrial connectivity platforms

 

You might also have:

  • Familiarity with MQTT, IoT, UNS, or industrial protocols and their relevance in smart industry use cases
  • Direct experience in OT or IT roles within manufacturing or energy sectors
